This is a slot for using an XFP (10 Gigabit Small Form-factor Pluggable) hot-swappable optical transceiver that allows 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections.

 

XFS

XFS is a journaled file system that allows for files as large as 16 terabytes. Due to the system’s design, it does not easily support backup system snapshots. Instead, it was designed with the intention that a logical volume manager would handle the snapshot/snapshot restoration process. This is not to be confused with the X Windows Font server, which shares the acronym.

 

XGA

XGA (Extended Graphics Array) describes standard 4:3 aspect ratio (1024 by 768) resolutions used by display monitors.
